Editing Layout tab for Article Manager Options

The Editing Layout tab of the Article Manager Options under System -> Global Configuration allows you to display editing options for the Article in the Article Manager area. You may feel the need to limit contributors to certain functions and hide other functions. These options control the layout of the article editing page on the Front End of your site when contributors are logged in.

Show Publishing Options: This will change whether the Publishing Options tab can be viewed in the Article Manager when creating an Article in the Back End. The options available in the Publishing Options tabs allow the user to change dates and author identities.

Show Article Options: This will change whether the Article Options tab can be viewed in the Article Manager when creating an Article in the Back End. These options allow overriding of Global Options for that individual Article.

Frontend Images and Links: When editing an article from the Front End, this toggles the options to use standardized images and links.

Administrator Images and Links: When editing an article from the Administrator side, this toggles the options to use standardized images and links.

URL A, URL B and URL C Target Window: Each Article give the author the ability to add links. These settings control whether the link will open in the same browser window (replacing the current page), in a new browser window or in a popup window or a modal (lightbox type) window.

Intro Image Float: This lets you standardize the float on the intor images.  Intro images are used, if enabled, for article intros when placed in a Category Blog Menu Item Type.

Full Text Image Float: If you aren't using intros, this sets the image float for a full text article.
